Liz Mitten Ryan runs Equinisity Retreats, a 320-acre horse sanctuary with forests, hills, lakes, and rivers where the horses are free to roam. This horse family is a family group that helps people learn about horses and heal what ails them.
“They are one family that has been born and raised with love and freedom to live as wild horses in their family group while sharing a deep level of connection and communication with humans,” Liz writes.
The horses in this video have just finished a large meal and are ready to unwind. They lay down in the barn to rest, being animals, and that’s when the farting and snoring starts!
Liz claims that the horses are in a large open barn with 12′ wide front doors that are always open, which may be a good thing if there’s a lot of farting going on! “They can come in to rest or go out whenever they want,” Liz writes, “but they prefer to hang out together.”
I was so happy to see this family of horses relaxing and not having a care in the world. Liz stated that she filmed it “for fun and to demonstrate how relaxed and happy these horses are.” They will lie down and sleep comfortably with a barn full of visitors because they are loved and safe.”
