Many people abandon their dogs in Greece because they can’t find a place to keep them right now; fortunately, there are places like Hott Spott, a cafe in Mytilene, Lesbos, that welcomes sloppy pets. It’s been allowing the poor pooches inside to sleep every night since July.
” Every night when the bar closes, the pets come in and sleep. We don’t have any issues. “Every night since July, there’s been a canine on the settee,” said a cafe server who asked to remain anonymous.
The islet of Lesbos has also been a hotbed of exile extremism. Locals have become more united in their support for environmental and humanitarian causes.
Eustratios Papanis, whose original print of the coffee shop went viral after he shared it on December 3, said, “The new generation is more sensitive and well informed.”
