Transparent Pods Suspended on a Mountainside Provide Travelers With An Exciting Night’s Sleep

This mountainside lodging is certainly one-of-a-kind, and it is not for the faint of heart. Vacationers can sleep in pods suspended 400 feet above ground level and literally attached to the side of a mountain as part of Natura Vive’s Skylodge Adventure in Peru.

They aren’t exactly easy to find. You’ll have to rock climb up to one, but once there, you’ll be rewarded with a bottle of wine and panoramic views of the valley below from the transparent sleep pod. The sleep pods are constructed of aerospace aluminum and weather-resistant polycarbonate, and they include four beds, a dining area, and a private bathroom.

Going back down appears to be much easier. When it’s time to go, you zipline back down. If I wasn’t terrified of heights, I’d definitely go!
