Winter is already wreaking havoc on the southern hemisphere, putting the lives of people and animals without a warm place to stay in jeopardy.
Too many people and animals have d.i.e.d as a result of their inability to stay warm. However, a bus station in Brazil is taking action!
The employees at Curitiba’s Barreirinha bus terminal didn’t seem to mind if the dogs were aban.doned or didn’t have homes to begin with.
They were only concerned with keeping them safe and warm. As a result, they welcomed three home.less puppies into their homes and hearts.
The dogs were given new beds and warm blankets by the employees, who named them Max, Pitoco, and Zoinho.
Fabiane Rosa, a local politician, witnessed the puppies and the bus station’s selfless act. She praised the employees on social media and shared the touching photos. Since then, it’s gone viral!
“Congratulations to the terminal staff,” Rosa wrote on Facebook (in Portuguese), “everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be.” Many businesses in Curitiba could learn from this example by adopting a pet. Of course, it isn’t ideal, but at the very least, they are being cared for.”
Rosa is correct, and we must concur. It’s both heartwarming and inspiring to see people open their doors and their hearts to animals in need. It takes very little effort to do the right thing. All you have to do is be willing to put in the effort!
