The video, which was first shared on Chinese TikTok, was mugged in GaoAn, a megacity in Jiangxi Province in South East China, as millions of people began celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year.
People all over the world celebrated the Lunar New Year, and the celebrations provided some relief from the coronavirus outbreak. Even so, some people aren’t particularly fond of the celebrations, including pets who aren’t fond of firecrackers.
In a heartwarming videotape, a young girl is seen doing everything she can to protect her dog during a similar celebration in China. A canine spooked by the noise is seen scooching and putting its legs together in a video that has received millions of views. The little girl in the pink padded jacket standing beside it tries to reassure the beast by gently stroking its head.
When that doesn’t seem to work, the girl tries to hide the dog’s awareness while loud crackling noises play in the background. In addition, the little one continues to rub the pet’s head to help it relax.

According to Newsflare, the girl’s mother, identified as Ms Wang, said that every time firecrackers are set off loudly, she covers her son’s awareness and tells her that there’s nothing to be hysterical about. The mother agreed that her son was simply doing the same for the dog.
People on social media were moved by the child’s thoughtful gesture, concluding that while the dog could still hear the noise, her actions presumably helped calm it down.
