They came across a scrawny Poodle on the side of the road. When Annie first approached her, she was filthy, hurt, and terrified. Despite her weakened state, she kissed Annie as soon as she was held.
On the way to the hospital, the rescuers gave the dog the name Layla. Layla’s intestines were dama.ged and she needed emergency sur.gery, but she made it. She was in the hospital for two weeks, but she was visited by her first-time foster parents on a regular basis to receive love and attention.
Layla is currently recovering and will be available for adoption through Res.cue From The Hart once she is fully recovered.
