After being sent to the e.m.e.r.g.e.n.c.y room of a children’s hospital in Orlando, Florida, to be patched up, an lnjured Elf on the Shelf received VIP treatment.
Aubrie Thelan, Jenn Thelan’s daughter, was upset when she learned Sam the Elf had been lnjured by their family dog, Zoey.
Jenn works at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and was the one who brought the lnjured elf to work that day. The medical team decided to heal the sick elf after very serious consideration. They wheeled him into the t.r.a.u.m.a bay and began working their magic on reviving the elf. The team made use of expired medical supplies as well as a pair of Santa’s “magic gloves.”
Arnold Palmer Hospital noted, “One of our ER staff members, Ashley, gently sewed Sam back together again and dressed his bruises all up.” “When she was finished, she even sprinkled some Christmas magic (glitter) over Sam.”
The staff said, “Sam was allowed to go home to Aubrie later that evening.” “Jenn showed her all of the videos and photos from Sam’s day in the Arnold Palmer Hospital Emergency Room. Aubrie continues to be enchanted with Christmas and Sam the Elf. Sam has been returned on his shelf, and Mom will make certain that he is out of Zoey’s reach.”
