The Dog’s Unexpected Reaction to the Arrival of His Baby Sister

When introducing a dog to a new baby, experts recommend allowing the dog to smell a few of the baby’s items prior to the introduction so that the dog can become accustomed to the baby’s smell. Clothing, diapers, blankets, and other baby-related items are included.

Charlie’s humans are doing the right thing by allowing him to sniff a few things from the newborn baby who will be arriving home the next day.

But when Charlie smells baby Sadie’s hat, he has a reaction that I’m sure his family wasn’t expecting!

Maybe he’s overjoyed? It does make me wonder…what will Charlie’s reaction be if he smells a dirty diaper?
