On ‘America’s Got Talent,’ a taxi driver delivers a stunning opera performance.

Carlos De Antonis is a taxi driver in Miami who enjoys opera singing. When one of his passengers suggested he audition for America’s Got Talent, he took their advice and took the stage to perform the opera classic “Nessun Dorma.”

His emotional performance quickly won over the audience and judges, with the audience on their feet and the judges complimenting his “heart” and passion. The compliments continued, with Simon Cowell telling Carlos that he is “one of the most likable contestants we’ve ever had on the show.” Carlos was the one who burst into tears as a result of the warm reception.
