In a h.e.a.r.t-pounding chase, a scooter driver assists a woman in capturing her runaway horse.

On his way to work on his scooter, this man had no idea he’d become a hero to one horse and his owner, but that’s exactly what happened.

The motorcyclist was driving down the road when he noticed a woman frantically sprinting down a bike path on a Dutch street. He discovered her horse had escaped his grasp and was now galloping down the streets.

When the horse spooked, the woman was walking him down the sidewalk. She could only try to catch the runaway horse on foot because she didn’t have a vehicle to follow him.

That’s when the kindhearted man approached her and asked if he could assist her. She jumped on the back of his bike and they pursued the horse.

They spot him seconds later, galloping down the bike path on the other side of the road at full speed. The woman calls the horse, Walter, several times. They get ahead of Walter and try to get him to stop, but he keeps slipping by.

Finally, the biker approaches Walter. While Walter’s mother grabs the reins, the driver tells the horse to be calm (“rustig” in Dutch).

Needless to say, the woman is grateful to the driver for assisting her in catching up with and catching Walter!
