I’m always on the lookout for new (and easy) bacon recipes. StokedOnSmoke demonstrates how to make these delectable-looking cheesy biscuits wrapped in bacon!
He just chunks the cheese and Pillsbury biscuit dough and wraps it around the cheese. The bacon is then wrapped around the cheese/dough before being fried in “350° oil until all sides are nice and golden brown.”
The following are the ingredients for the recipe:
– 1 can Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers Biscuits (8 ct.)
– 1 pound of mozzarella cheese – 1 pound of bacon (thick cut)
Toothpicks or longer wooden skewers
Canola Oil (or other vegetable oil)
They appear to be simple to make, and I’m sure there are many flavor variations you can try, such as using maple bacon or cheddar cheese.
