What a wonderful way to introduce these adorable puppies to the community!
Every year, more than 3.9 million dogs are euthanized in animal shelters across the United States.
If no one adopts them, nearly a third of them will be euthanized, posing a serious problem for shelters trying to place older, wonderful dogs with loving families.
The Kitsap Humane Society in Washington has devised a brilliant solution to assist in the adoption of their dogs. Molly Clark, a volunteer, takes one of the dogs to a local Starbucks every Tuesday for a seriously sweet treat: the Puppuccino.
The Puppuccino is a small cup filled with whipped cream that can be found on Starbucks’ “secret menu,” but these pups can’t get enough of it.
Customers can even see pictures of the dogs at the local Starbucks, which features the “dog of the week.”
“The dogs adore the Puppuccinos and LOVE the shelter breaks.”
“As they lick the whipped cream out of the cup, you can see it in their little eyes.”
What a great way to get these lovable pups out into the community!
Spread the word so that these puppies can find their forever home.
