They usually form a close bond because they are neighbors and see each other frequently. But this isn’t just the case for human children; it also happens to be the case for our furry neighbors.
Cooper, a Havanese, and Simba, a mini Goldendoodle, are neighbors and best friends. Roberto Couto of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, owns Simba, and according to Newsweek, Simba and Cooper go for walks together with their families’ children.
They’ve become inextricably linked, and when they’re apart, Simba will occasionally escape his enclosure to visit Cooper.
Since they were puppies, when their families got them at the same time, the adorable duo has been best friends.
They are usually ecstatic to see each other and greet each other in the sweetest way possible.
Couto took a photo of the happy couple hugging each other during one of their meetings. They’re all standing on their hind legs, their front paws wrapped around each other in the most human-like pose possible. Couto shared the touching photo in the Facebook group “Dogspotting Society,” where it quickly went viraI, garnering over 11,000 likes.
It was also shared on Twitter, where it received over 300,000 likes.
This used to be a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. Almost every time they see each other, the furry good friends greet each other with the same warm hug.
They practically adore each other and consider themselves fortunate to be so close. That, my friends, is what friendship is all about! Now all we have to do is hope that neither of their families ever decides to relocate!
