Buck and Trinity, canine best friends and playmates, have been separated for over a year due to the C0VlD pan.dem.ic, which forced the doggie daycare/boarding facility they frequented to close.
But, after 18 months apart, the best friends are about to reunite, and it’s a h.e.a.r.t.w.a.r.m.i.n.g sight to behold.
Tara Zapp, an employee at the Petsmart pet sitting fac.ili.ty in Ajax, Ontario, captured Trinity the Pekingese mix and Buck the Malamute re.un.iting at the da.y.care.
Trinity is seen tugging on her leash as hard as she can to get over to Buck, who is resting in a kennel, in the adorable video. Trinity lets out loud barks of delight as soon as she sees her friend. Buck takes a moment to recognize her, but once he does, he enthusiastically joins in with a loud “hello” howl.
“Due to the pan.demlc, we had to close our facility,” Zapp wrote of the cute video. “Before we shut down, all the dogs were picked up and sent home.” When we reopened, this was the reaction.”
For a few more seconds, the adorable pair continued their loud greeting, and a short time later, they were playing together in the daycare. To demonstrate how Trinity and Buck regularly play together, Zapp shared a video of the duo from before the fac.i.l.i.t.y’s closure. Adorable!
