Furgee, a Chihuahua/Pug mix, patiently waits for baby Roen to fetch her chew toy, teaching her how to crawl in the process! Roen, who is only six months old, is still learning to crawl. Furgee appears to be aware of this, as she places her chew toy further away from Roan, forcing her to crawl to retr.ieve it. Furgee is patient and gentle with her new human, demonstrating how loving dogs can be.
According to their parents, the friendship between the two is still going strong two years later. “Our daughter is now two years old, and she and her dog Furgee are best friends. They used to sled together in the winter and now both ride in the bicycle trailer. Our daughter Roen walks Furgee on a leash…for a dog and a toddler, they are both very loving and gentle with each other.”
