Dropsaw resided with her owner in a little hamlet outside of Queensland, Australia.
They kept to themselves and went around with each other because no one else was around. However, because the man was so isolated, no one noticed when he had a heart attack.
Dropsaw was left to fend for herself, and 6 weeks later, she was discovered sleeping close to her owner’s body.
Within the first few days, the dog drank all of her water and ate all of her food, forcing her to scavenge your house for whatever she might find.
She would surely empty the toilet bowls and raid the cupboards, but she would always return to her owner’s side. When she was rescued, the evil dog had lost nearly a third of her body weight.
When the community learned of her need, they banded together to assist her. Dropsaw was taken in by Red Collar Rescue, a non-profit based in Queensland.
Chris of Red Collar Rescue agreed to foster the puppy, but the plan backfired when Chris and her husband, Bob, fell in love with her and chose to adopt her!
